Expression of interest for AVI50519 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) Courses

FTA is seeking expressions of interest for a AVI50519 Multi-engine Command Instrument Rating course. FTA is looking to conduct these courses in the first half of 2026 with courses probably running on a monthly basis. Details on the course as follows:

  • Ground School (IREX): 2 weeks
  • Flying: 33 hours
  • Simulator: 22 hours
  • Total Duration: 8 weeks

Course price is anticipated at $36,561 which can be deferred via VET Student Loans (VSL) should you meet the VSL criteria.

If you are interested in attending a course in the first half of 2026, please register your interest with Karen on kjamieson@flyfta.com by Monday the 8th of December 2025. Please note that by registering your interest, you are not committing yourself to doing the course.
