The arrival marks the first step in FTA’s aircraft replacement program and the continued rebuilding of its training fleet.

Its arrival represents an important milestone for FTA and the first step in our aircraft replacement program following the April 2026 accident, as we continue rebuilding our fleet and restoring full training capacity.

Once engineering work, FTA livery and the required regulatory approvals are complete, VH-YTQ will join our operational fleet and begin supporting the next generation of professional pilots.

We look forward to seeing VH-YTQ flying in Adelaide skies with future airline captains on board—another positive step forward for FTA.
