A message from Flight Training Adelaide

FTA is marking an important milestone as we commence a carefully managed return to flying operations, following the tragic accident that deeply impacted our FTA family and the broader aviation community.

In the weeks since, we have taken time to reflect, heal, rebuild, and support one another through an extraordinarily difficult period. Our return on 26 May 2026 to a scaled commencement of operations has been made possible only by the resilience and dedication of our staff, the continued support of our customers, regulatory guidance, and the encouragement of the aviation community as a whole.

While tragedies of this nature are profoundly difficult, they reinforce the importance of continual learning, reflection, and the ongoing pursuit of the highest possible standards of safety and professionalism. We remain committed to reviewing and strengthening our operations wherever appropriate as we move forward.

Above all, we honour and remember those we have lost, whose absence will continue to be felt across our organisation and community.
