Qantas has appointed Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) as the training provider for the Toowoomba site. FTA is a world-class training provider for the Australian aviation industry and some of the world’s leading airlines.

FTA has dedicated teams for our students and we employ Instructors teaching flight training, ground theory and simulator training, allowing for specialised tuition. Individual specialisation ensures all employees teach in their chosen field, while allowing them to hone their particular skills.

Ground Theory Instructor
There are full-time and part-time positions and only those individuals with the relevant experience and who are either Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents need apply.

The Ground Training Instructor position is responsible for the effective and professional delivery of the Ground Training Syllabi. We are seeking to recruit individuals who have taught or are teaching aviation theory from Private Pilots Licence (PPL) to Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL) to work as part of an established and successful team.

The successful candidate must hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/TAE40116), a diploma or higher for a qualification in adult education or have/held a CASA Part 61 Flight Instructor Licence.

Flight Instructor
There are full-time, ongoing positions and only those individuals with the relevant experience and who are either Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents need apply.

We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated and professional dedicated flying instructors who can give a commitment to QGPA, for a minimum period of 3 years and work as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Current Australian FIR Grade 3 or above; (compulsory)
  • Hold/held Command Instrument Rating

A pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test is required if successful.
