The Ground Training Instructor positions are responsible for the preparation, delivery and assessment of aviation theory subjects at commercial airline level, to cadet pilots undergoing training at FTA.
We are seeking to recruit individuals with extensive experience to work as part of an established and successful team, in the following areas:
- Background in Aviation Engineering;
- Relevant Airline experience.

Experience would include the delivery of theory lessons for either or all of the following:
- Aircraft Systems to EASA Aircraft Systems (ATPL);
- Aircraft General Knowledge for fixed CASA (CPL and ATPL);
- Aircraft General Knowledge for rotary wing to CASA (CPL and ATPL);
- Gas Turbines
- Piston Engines
The successful applicant should have experience in the delivery of ab initio and commercial aviation theory training and will possess good levels of computer skills. High level interpersonal skills are essential and the persons must be able to work with limited supervision, in a dynamic environment. A salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
Individuals must hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) or TAE40116.
