FTA is very proud to support numerous activities promoting women in aviation. Recently, three female FTA flying instructors participated at the Women in Aviation Careers booth at the Adelaide Career and Employment Expo that took place on the 7th and 8th of May 2021. Thousands of young female South Australians attended the event and were given an insight into what an aviation career may look like for them.
In addition to supporting these events, FTA is an active promoter of women in aviation and we employ a significant number of female instructors, operations personnel, managers and non-operational support staff.
